  3. Type in NG Rewards and tap the search button
  4. Tap the free NG Rewards app
  5. Tap Get

That is all! You have now downloaded the NG Rewards app.

Creating an Account and Username

To create an NG Rewards member account from the app:

  1. Download the NG Rewards app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Once the app is installed, tap the app to open it.
  3. Tap Sign Up, then enter your email address and tap Create an Account. You can also tap Connect with facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
  4. If you register with your email, create a username and password, fill out your profile info and then tap Done. If you register with Facebook, you’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you’re currently logged out.

If you sign up with email, make sure you enter your email address correctly and choose an email address that only you can access. If you log out and forget your password, you’ll need to be able to access your email to get back into your NG Rewards member account.

To update your profile information, including your username and email address associated with your account:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Type in your information and tap Update (iPhone & Android).

Some profile information isn’t visible to anyone but you. This includes your email address, phone number, gender and age.

Managing Your Account

  1. Go to your profile and tap Profile.
  2. Tap Change Profile Photo.
  3. Select where you’d like to import your picture from.
  4. Tap Update (iOS & Android).

You can take a new photo or add a photo from your phone’s photo library or Facebook. If you choose to import from Facebook, NG Rewards will use the same picture you’re already using for your Facebook profile.

If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it using your email address. If you’re not able to reset your password this way, open the NG Rewards app for additional help.

Resetting your password using your email

To reset your password, first open the NG Rewards app. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password? below LOG IN. From there:

  • On Android: Enter your email, then tap Submit.
  • On iOS, tap Enter your email, then tap Send.

If you aren’t able to locate your account after entering your username:

  • Make sure that you’re entering your username correctly, especially if it contains repeated characters
  • Don’t include the @ symbol when entering your username

If you think your username was changed as a result of your account being compromised:

  • Check if you’ve received an email from NG Rewards notifying you that your account information was changed
  • Ask a friend to visit your profile and take a screenshot of your current username

Here are some things you can do to help keep your account safe:

  • Pick a strong password. Use a combination of at least six numbers, letters and punctuation marks (like ! and &). It should be different from other passwords you use elsewhere on the internet.
  • Change your password regularly, especially if you see a message from Instagram asking you to do so. During automated security checks, NG Rewards sometimes recovers login information that was stolen from other sites. If NG Rewards detects that your password may have been stolen, changing your password on NG Rewards and other sites helps to keep your account secure and prevent you from being hacked in the future.
  • Never give your password to someone you don’t know and trust.
  • Make sure your email account is secure. Anyone who can read your email can probably also access your Instagram account. Change the passwords for all of your email accounts and make sure that no two are the same.
  • Log out of NG Rewards when you use a computer or phone you share with other people.
  • Think before you authorize any third-party app.

If you think your account has been hacked or taken over, there are actions you can take to secure your account.

Check your email account for a message from NG Rewards

If you received an email from NG Rewards letting you know that your email address was changed, you may be able to undo this by using the revert this change option in that message. If additional information was also changed (example: your password), and you’re unable to change back your email address, please report the account to us.

Report the account

If you’re unable to recover your account, please report the account to us.

To report a hacked account on NG Rewards:

Send us an email at info@myngrewards.com and include your username, phone number, and email.

Once you’ve submitted your request, be on the lookout for an email from NG Rewards with next steps.

Verify your identity

Once you submit your request, you should receive an email from the Security Team at NG Rewards asking you to help us verify your identity. You’ll be asked for one or both of the following:

  • A photo of yourself holding a paper with a handwritten code we’ve provided you.
  • The email address or phone number you signed up with and the type of device you used at the time of sign up (example: iPhone, Android, iPad, other).

Once you provide information to help us verify your identity, we’ll send you specific instructions to recover your account at the secure email address you provided.

If you’re still able to log into your NG Rewards account

If you think your account has been hacked and you’re still able to log in, here are some things you can do to help keep your account secure:

  • Change your password or send yourself a password reset email
  • Revoke access to any suspicious third-party apps
